Overview
Power Factor Correction (PFC) panels are electrical systems designed to improve energy efficiency by automatically compensating reactive power within electrical networks.

Main Components
The system consists of capacitor banks, switching contactors with damping resistors, protection fuses, and a controller for continuous monitoring and adjustment of the power factor. It can also be equipped with a main protection device or isolator switch. Detuning reactors can be added to eliminate harmonic distortions.
