Automatic Transfer Switch

Overview
An Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) panelboard designed to transfer power between the main supply and a backup source in the event of a failure, ensuring continuous power supply in low-voltage distribution systems.

Operating Principle
The system monitors voltage and frequency from two power sources (utility and generator). In the event of a failure in Source 1, a start command is issued to Source 2. Once Source 2 stabilizes within acceptable limits, the load is automatically transferred. When Source 1 returns to normal conditions, the system safely retransfers the load and shuts down Source 2.

Key Features
Ensures uninterrupted power continuity with automatic switching between main and standby sources. Equipped with intelligent control logic and protection devices (ACB and MCCB) for overload, short-circuit, and earth fault protection. An interlocking system prevents simultaneous connection of both sources, ensuring safe operation.

Control & Monitoring
Features an intuitive control panel with LED indicators and push buttons for manual operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Provides continuous power condition monitoring with delayed retransfer to the main source until stability is confirmed, ensuring reliable and stable performance.
